The Homebuilders Association of Greater Des Moines, chartered in 1944, is a non-profit trade association affiliated with the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and the Homebuilders Association of Iowa (HBAI). The HBA of Greater Des Moines is dedicated to the advancement of the building industry, its members and the communities it serves.
The purpose of the Association shall be:
•To provide leadership, education and direction for its members as the recognized voice of the industry
•To establish and maintain prescribed industry standards and professionalism of its members
•To enhance the building industry by maintaining a cooperative and effective relationship with government
•To maintain a strong membership base and financial stability to be able to effectively respond to the future issues and challenges.
